The Ginzburg-Landau equation is used in a variety of fields, from superconductors to fluids. It is a relatively simple equation that can produce very interesting results depending on the chosen parameters. I wrote this code as a quick side project but thought that it could be useful for someone who is working with this equation. It is based on a finite difference scheme from this paper. Initial conditions that provide interesting results can be found here. Below you can see how few changes in the parameters can yield very different results.
